About the Role

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a talented team as a CAD Technician, providing essential technical and design support to the sales team. You will be responsible for producing accurate, detailed CAD drawings and ensuring kitchen designs are translated into clear, practical technical plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for design and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, supporting the sales team in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings to support the sales team with luxury kitchen projects.

• Translate design concepts, specifications and measurements into clear technical drawings.

• Amend and update drawings in line with customer requirements and design revisions.

• Work closely with sales designers to ensure proposed layouts are accurate, practical and technically feasible.

• Check drawings thoroughly to ensure dimensions, specifications and technical details are correct.

• Liaise with internal departments to ensure designs are communicated clearly and efficiently.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising workloads to meet deadlines.

• Maintain organised drawing files, project records and technical documentation.

• Identify potential design issues and support the team in finding practical solutions.

• Maintain the high standards of quality and precision expected within a luxury kitchen environment.

Requirements / Skills:

• Previous experience in a CAD Technician, CAD Designer or similar technical drawing role.

• Proficiency in CAD software; experience with kitchen design software would be advantageous.

• A strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.

• A good understanding of technical drawings, dimensions, layouts and specifications.

• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a sales team.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

• An interest in luxury kitchens, interiors and bespoke design.

• Experience within the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom (KBB), interiors or furniture industry would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate.
