Salary - £38,000 + 25% OTE

Simon Acres Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected client to recruit an experienced Plumbing & Heating Manager for their branch in the Staffordshire area.

Working within the Plumbing & Heating department, the Plumbing & Heating Manager plays an important role in driving sales, developing customer relationships and ensuring the department operates efficiently and profitably.

 

Responsibilities:

- Driving sales and identifying opportunities to increase departmental revenue and profitability
- Providing customers with knowledgeable advice across a range of plumbing and heating products
- Managing agreed customer pricing and ensuring commercial terms are maintained
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
- Managing stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks
- Ensuring the Plumbing & Heating showroom and shop floor are well presented and professionally merchandised
- Processing customer orders and sales accurately, including invoicing
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the department
- Supporting the wider branch team and carrying out other reasonable duties associated with the position

 

 

The successful candidate will ideally have:

- Strong Plumbing & Heating product knowledge
- Previous experience in a sales-focused environment
- A proven track record of achieving sales results
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A commercial approach with the ability to identify opportunities for profitable growth
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to the wider branch team
- A professional and proactive approach to customers, suppliers and colleagues
