Salary: £55,000 Basic + Commission + Company Car

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in developing new business, strengthening existing relationships and driving continued growth across the Northern Home Counties.

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities within the Contracts market, while building strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the kitchen industry and contract market, with an established network across housebuilders, developers and other relevant customers.

You will need to be commercially minded, sales-focused and confident in developing relationships at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with housebuilders, developers and key contract customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Northern Home Counties.
• Build a strong pipeline of new contract opportunities and manage the sales process through to completion.
• Maintain and develop existing customer relationships to maximise long-term commercial opportunities.
• Utilise your existing network and industry knowledge to identify potential new customers and projects.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals and negotiate contracts where required.
• Monitor market activity and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, opportunities and customer relationships.
• Represent the business professionally at meetings, events and customer visits.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Contracts division.

Requirements / Skills

• Proven and successful track record within business development or sales.
• Strong experience within the kitchen, KBB or contract market.
• Existing relationships with housing developers, housebuilders and other relevant contract customers.
• Strong commercial and contract awareness.
• Excellent knowledge of the kitchen industry.
• Confident, professional and highly effective relationship builder.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Strong team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and internal departments.
• Demonstrable longevity and loyalty within previous employment.
• Highly motivated, commercially driven and results-focused.
• Full UK driving licence.
