Location: Ideally based between Colchester and Cambridge, covering residential and commercial projects
Salary: £45,000–£50,000
Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time, Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are managed efficiently from the planning stage through to installation and completion.

About the Role

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to take ownership of the contracts and installation process, coordinating builders, fitters, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the high standards expected of a luxury kitchen business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong multi-trade background, with practical knowledge of areas such as plumbing and electrical work. You will need to be confident challenging builders and contractors when necessary and have the experience to recognise when timelines or requirements are not realistic.

You will be required to attend the office every Tuesday for administration, meetings and team collaboration, with the remainder of the role involving site visits, project management and coordination across the company's projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate kitchen installation projects across residential and commercial sites.
• Liaise with builders, contractors, kitchen fitters and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Coordinate installation schedules and ensure fitters are attending sites at the appropriate stage.
• Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and readiness.
• Assess whether sites are genuinely ready for installation and challenge unrealistic or inaccurate timelines where necessary.
• Identify potential issues before they impact installation programmes.
• Coordinate trades including plumbing, electrical and building works.
• Ensure installations are completed to the high standards expected within a luxury kitchen environment.
• Manage project administration, documentation and installation schedules.
• Attend weekly office meetings and complete administration every Tuesday.
• Build strong working relationships with builders, contractors, clients and installation teams.
• Help resolve issues quickly and effectively throughout the installation process.
• Support the business in maintaining its excellent reputation for quality and customer service.

Requirements / Skills:

• Proven experience in contracts, installations, project management or a similar role.
• Strong multi-trade knowledge, particularly plumbing and electrical work.
• Experience managing kitchen installations or high-end residential/commercial projects would be highly advantageous.
• Confident dealing with builders, contractors and subcontractors.
• Able to recognise when project timelines are realistic and when contractors may be delaying or manipulating schedules.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Professional, proactive and commercially aware.
• Full UK driving licence.
