Salary:  up to £40,000 with bonus (Negotiable)

An established and growing independent merchant business operating across the South East is looking to appoint an experienced Branch Manager to lead one of its customer-focused branches. The business has built a strong reputation for service, product knowledge, and long-term customer relationships within the trade sector.

This is an opportunity for an experienced branch leader or senior supervisor to take ownership of a busy branch operation, lead a committed team, and influence commercial performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations
• Lead, coach, and develop branch colleagues
• Drive sales growth and branch profitability
• Deliver excellent service to trade and retail customers
• Maintain operational standards and compliance requirements
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

Candidate Profile

• Previous leadership experience within merchanting, distribution, wholesale, or a related trade environment
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach
• Strong people management and team development skills
• Customer-focused with a hands-on management style
• Comfortable managing branch performance and operational targets

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Alternate Saturday mornings
