A well-established, premium bespoke kitchen design and manufacturing business based in Farnham is seeking an experienced Studio & Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in its continued growth.

This design-led company specialises in high-end, fully bespoke cabinetry, delivering beautifully crafted spaces for discerning private clients across Surrey and the surrounding counties. With increasing demand and an expanding project portfolio, the business is now looking to strengthen its operational function with a commercially minded, highly organised individual.

This is a key position within the company and sits at the very heart of the operation.

The Role

The Studio & Operations Manager will support design, production and finance functions to ensure projects move seamlessly from concept through to completion.

This role is focused on protecting designer time, improving operational efficiency, maintaining high standards and supporting sustainable business growth.

You will oversee the day-to-day flow of the studio, manage administrative processes, support quoting and documentation, assist production coordination, and act as the first point of contact for showroom visitors.

This is not a junior administrative position. It requires confidence, ownership and the ability to operate independently within a fast-paced, high-end environment.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Commercial Oversight

• Raising and managing invoices using Xero (or similar accounting software)

• Maintaining accurate job-by-job P&L tracking

• Monitoring project budgets and identifying discrepancies

• Supporting financial reporting and payment tracking

Quoting & Design Support

• Preparing and issuing detailed client quotations

• Reviewing design packs against internal technical checklists

• Ensuring specifications are complete prior to final sign-off

• Maintaining accurate and well-structured project documentation

Production & Supplier Coordination

• Providing office-based administrative support to the Production Manager

• Coordinating supplier documentation and schedules

• Assisting with order processing and tracking

Showroom & Client Experience

• Acting as the first point of contact for walk-in clients

• Confidently introducing cabinetry ranges and specifications

• Qualifying enquiries and booking design consultations

• Maintaining a professional and welcoming studio environment

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

• Exceptionally organised and detail-oriented

• Commercially aware and comfortable working with numbers

• Confident using Xero or similar accounting software

• Experienced within construction, interiors, architecture or a related sector (preferred)

• Calm and solutions-focused under pressure

• Professional and confident when working with high-end clientele

• Proactive, accountable and capable of taking ownership

You will be a central operational figure within the business, trusted to manage processes and maintain standards independently.
