Confidential Retail Opportunity – Client-Facing Commercial Role

Location: Northern Ireland

Full-time | Permanent

Compensation: Circa £30,000–£40,000 (flexible for the right individual) + benefits package

A privately owned, long-established Northern Ireland business is seeking a commercially minded individual to take ownership of a customer-facing retail environment.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys autonomy, relationship-building, and guiding customers through considered purchasing decisions in a consultative setting.

The Opportunity

You will assume responsibility for the day-to-day performance and presentation of a specialist showroom environment. Acting as the primary contact for visiting clients, you will manage the full customer journey — from initial enquiry through specification, quotation, and completion.

This is a hands-on, front-of-house commercial role requiring both attention to detail and a natural ability to build rapport.

Core Focus

  • Managing all walk-in and appointment-based enquiries

  • Translating client requirements into tailored proposals

  • Preparing detailed quotations and actively managing follow-up activity

  • Coordinating order processing and delivery scheduling

  • Maintaining high visual and operational standards within the retail space

  • Resolving queries in a calm, solutions-focused manner

  • Keeping informed of evolving product lines and fashions within the sector

Ideal Background

  • Previous experience in a consultative, customer-facing sales environment, with a keen understanding of plumbing supplies and bathrooms

  • Confidence managing projects from enquiry to completion

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple live quotations

  • Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset

  • A genuine interest in interiors, specification-led sales, or home improvement sectors
